Shock and Awe, Savagery and Trouble Returning to Voltage

WAYNESBORO, PA. - Big trouble is set to once again grace the ring of Voltage Wrestling, and this time, things could get a lot more savage when Voltage makes its Pennsylvania debut November 13 in Waynesboro at the Rouzerville Community Center. And with it comes a card shaping up to be absolutely epic.

As first announced this past weekend on the Wrestling Supercharged Podcast, the man standing at 6’12’ and weighing in at 15% of a metric ton Ben Bishop will step into the squared circle with The Savage Gentleman and leader of the Peanut Butter Platoon himself, Victor Benjamin in a matchup sure to shake the landscape in the ever raging battle for the Voltage Grand Championship.

It’s a rivalry that predates Voltage’s Shocking Debut back in June, with the back and forth chirping between the two top-tier independent talents on Twitter setting the stage for their eventual confrontation in the Grand Championship Tournament. Bishop and Benjamin each won their initial tournament bout, but ultimately fell short to Sicend’s eventual coronation, and neither man has been seen in the Voltage ring since.

That’s all set to change come November 13.

But where these men have come may dictate the coming outcome of their one on one matchup, and the national notoriety both men are bringing to the Voltage stage is sure to elevate this contest even further.

The self-proclaimed Earth quakin’, pillar shakin’, leader of the meatpop express Ben Bishop has seen a massive upswing of career momentum in the last year alone. Having found a manager in Barstool Sports personality Brandon Walker, Bishop has made an appearance on AEW Dark this past summer, and his stock continues to rise.

He’s also about to face the most technically sound opponent of his career.

No stranger to the spotlight himself, Victor Benjamin stands with championship credentials himself as the reigning and defending Butterfinger World Champion, having successfully retained the title against AEW’s own Murderhawk Monster Lance Archer back in September.
Benjamin also wrestled at GCW’s Bloodsport this past April, displaying not only his in-ring technical abilities, but also his background in MMA.

With just a few short weeks left before their confrontation, it’s anyone’s guess who will emerge victorious. One thing is for certain - the outcome of this match is sure to have massive implications in the Voltage Grand Championship title picture.

Will the big man prove too much trouble? Or will the Leader of the Peanut Butter Platoon prove too savage to tame?

We’ll find out November 13 in Waynesboro, PA at the Rouzerville Community Center, bell time set for 8 PM.
