On June 9th, the wrestling world is eagerly anticipating a monumental clash in Martinsburg, WV, as Breaux Keller and Facade prepare to confront their formidable adversaries, The Goons, composed of Killian McMurphy and Myles Millennium. This highly-anticipated showdown is fueled by a deep-rooted rivalry that stems from past encounters and personal vendettas, adding an extra layer of intensity to the impending confrontation.
Myles Millennium's Championship Interference: The animosity between Breaux Keller and Myles Millennium reached its boiling point when Myles, driven by jealousy and resentment, cost Keller a championship opportunity. In a match against the formidable Beastman, Myles stormed the ring and interfered, resulting in Keller's defeat and the loss of his chance at championship glory. This underhanded act not only ignited Keller's ire but also set the stage for a brewing rivalry that demanded resolution. Bitterness Over Past Losses: Following their individual defeats at the hands of Breaux Keller, both Killian McMurphy and Myles Millennium harbored bitterness and sought retribution. Their egos bruised and their pride wounded, The Goons were determined to make Keller pay for their losses. The resentment and desire for revenge fueled their subsequent actions, leading to a series of attacks and interference aimed at sabotaging Keller's career. Facade's Heroic Intervention: In the midst of The Goons' relentless assaults on Breaux Keller, Facade emerged as a shining beacon of support and loyalty. Recognizing the injustice of the situation, Facade stepped in to save Keller from an impending attack, forging an alliance against their common foes. This act of camaraderie not only showcased Facade's unwavering determination to fight for justice but also solidified the bond between him and Keller, creating an unbreakable partnership. Incensed by Facade's interference and the newfound alliance between him and Keller, The Goons responded with even greater hostility. They ruthlessly targeted Facade, seizing every opportunity to interrupt his matches and subject him to brutal attacks. Their objective was clear: to not only exact vengeance on Keller but also to extinguish the flame of resistance embodied by Facade. The Explosive Confrontation in Martinsburg: Now, on June 9th in Martinsburg, WV, the stage is set for an epic showdown that will determine the course of this intense rivalry. Breaux Keller and Facade, united by a shared desire for justice, will confront The Goons head-on. The ring will become a battleground where athleticism, determination, and sheer willpower collide in a struggle for dominance. As the date approaches, the wrestling community eagerly awaits the outcome of this explosive confrontation. When MLW star Beastman made his Voltage Wrestling debut in September of 2021, it was clear as day the modern day incarnation of primal force would have an immediate impact, ripping through the Voltage roster like the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs. Escorted to the ring by none other than Captain D. Capitate, Beastman plowed his way through every contender put in the opposite corner, dominating matches and showing fans why “Husk” was more than just the mere babbling of a wild man, but an invocation of terror. And on June 10 of 2022, the Stone Age Savage did what he had sat out to do from the beginning, capturing the Voltage Wrestling Grand Championship in a three way bout with Madd Maxx Morrison and defending champion Sicend. For 303 days, Beastman reigned supreme - unbeatable, undeniable, unchecked by the slew of opponents placed in front of him. There were some who took him to the limit - Breaux Keller and Red Dawg in particular nearly took the beast to the brink - but all fell under the weight of the monster. Until April 20, 2023 at Thursday Night Lightning in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. With no clear number one contender emerging from the roster, Captain D. Capitate announced his client would not be granting title matches until a proper contender arose. From the Edge of Insanity, enter Ring of Honor and IMPACT! wrestler Delirious. The two combatants slugged it out in the middle of the Voltage ring, showing fans an absolute slobber knocker of two seasoned vets vying for victory. The matchup appeared to be on even keel, with Delirious taking the champ to the limit, but unable to find that final edge for victory. Beastman seemed poised to win, putting Delirious down for the three count, but even the Captains efforts weren’t enough to shake awake the not one - but two - downed and unconscious officials to secure the victory. And then, it all went sideways. In a night that already had already seen an all out brawl through the brewery that resulted in an entirely different match being called a no contest, WDWA Commissioner Gaven Jaxon and WDWA Champion Clay Jacobs forced entry into the venue, where Jacobs caught the unsuspecting Beastman with a clothesline, allowing Delirious to hit the monster with Shadows Over Hell for the three count, and securing himself the number one contenders spot. But why would WDWA interfere at all, and especially in Waynesboro, nearly an hour away from their base in Martinsburg, West Virginia? WDWA would argue Voltage started the feud, when Mike Ratick arrived with Beastman in tow at a WDWA show back on March 18, answering Jacobs’ open challenge for the WDWA Championship. The match ended in a no contest and subsequent locker room brawl, but any bad blood that had been drawn between the two promotions seems to be just beginning. Manager Captain D. Capitate is irate at the entire situation. “We are freaking pissed. Beastman loses his first match in Voltage Wrestling because of some ass from West Virginia, who claims to be some half ass champion from WDWA?” the Pirate told me. “Then Delirious gets a title shot? Just more Voltage Wrestling bulls***.” Clearly, the Captain was less than thrilled at Beastman’s first loss, and continued to question Voltage officials. “How the hell did the WDWA guys get past security and get near the ring anyway? An inside job while Ratick was conveniently out of town.” “Total s***,” he added. “The outcome on June 2 will be ANOTHER victory for my man, BEASTMAN, and we will take the ultimate booty back to the ship. And then we’ll take care of those clowns from Martinsburg in due time.” It remains to be seen what repercussions Captain D.’s words will have, or what will come with Beastman’s inevitable retaliation. In the meanwhile, he’ll be going 1-on-1 with Delirious next week, this time with the Voltage Grand Championship on the line.
