In what could easily be an early contender for match of the night, the Hitman for Hire Mr. Grim will be battling Cortez Castro aka Ricky Reyes in a one on one bout sure to bring the house down. It’s a matchup pitting a wrestler on the rise against a seasoned and travelled veteran. The Hitman for Hire, known for his penchant of putting his beaten opponents into body bags, Mr. Grim is a star in the making in the wrestling world. In addition to appearances around the states, Grim has also wrestled for CZW, Beyond Wrestling, and AEW. Mr. Grim made his Voltage debut last month in Hagerstown, MD, ultimately losing to the neon ninja Facade in a close, back and forth bout. But hitmen of caliber so rarely miss twice, and redemption will be in his sights. Standing in opposition and more than up to the task to thwart the assassination, his opponent has nearly 25 years of experience in the squared circle. Castro emerged as a product of UPW in California- the very same promotion that broke in names like John Cena, Samoa Joe, Frankie Kazarian, The Miz, and many more. He is a former Ring of Honor tag team champion as one half of the Havana Pitbulls with his partner Rocky Romero. In addition, he has found success in CZW, World Wrestling Council, attaining grand slam champion status in the World Wrestling Council, and has also appeared in the WWE. Since 2014, he has been a prominent star and found great success in Lucha Underground. And with countless tours in Japan, Cortez is one of the most venerated and decorated wrestlers to step foot inside a Voltage ring. On November 13 in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, new blood will clash with tried and tested flesh in what is sure to be a hard-hitting throwdown between the ropes of the Voltage squared circle.
